Safe Travels Home

Most all the SnowBirds have left the park.  There are a few left, waiting for a strong southerly wind, to help push them back North and for the traffic to subside a little.  We hope that all make it back safe and sound.

Next year we have some new and exciting programs.  There will still be the regular States Nights, but in addition we have some new entertainment, that we’re sure you will enjoy.

Plan ahead for a return to the 1960’s.  We are planning an outdoor party in the Clubhouse parking lot and the area around the Clubhouse with 60’s music.  If possible, please bring prizes that reflect the 60’s.  The tentative date is March 7th, 2020, at 2:00pm. If you have any questions, contact Cheryl Ferrall at 614-267-7403 or Linda Bowen at 231-286-5805.

We are pleased to announce that we have booked an entertainment act straight from Branson Missouri to perform at Ancient Oaks next season.  Nine-time winners of the musical duet group of the year, Gordy and Debbie Wensel have over 1000 shows they have performed from the Uptown Cafe in Branson.  They will bring their Country Legends show complete with large screen videos from country greats like Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones and many more. A few of us had the opportunity to see this show recently, and we believe that you will fall in love with their performance.  Country Legends will be at Ancient Oaks on Thursday, February 27, 2020.  Mark your calendars and plan on an exciting night of entertainment.
